I am board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. I specialize in the treatment of heart rhythm disorders, with a particular focus on the management of atrial fibrillation.
After receiving my medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, WV, I moved to Texas and served my internship and residency in internal medicine at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio as a Captain in the United States Army. I then served as chief of medicine at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital in Fort Polk, LA. In 2010-2011, I was called to deploy to Afghanistan with the 10th Mountain division and earned numerous commendations.
Upon my return, I completed fellowship training in cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple. I was honorably discharged from active military service in 2011. I have been practicing in Denton, Texas since early 2016, where I will remain for many years to come!
